Licensed Professional Counselor Caitlin Ellis, MA, LPC, NCC
Caitlin Ellis, MA, LPC, NCC works exclusively with individuals and couples. Her favorite part about being a therapist is witnessing the human spirit’s amazing capacity for resiliency and it’s ability to promote growth and change through introspection.
She finds intimate partner relationships to be one of the most fascinating and impactful facets of the human experience. She loves to see connections and bonds between two partners strengthen as she works with them. “It touches my heart to watch couples find their way towards each other.” She supports and guides couples through the process of shaping their relationships into experiences filled with love, understanding and passion.
Caitlin also specializes in working with individual clients to empower them to thrive in their current relationships and to come to understand their authentic selves better. She’s passionate about walking with clients down their path of self-discovery, including breaking free from old patterns that are keeping them stuck, understanding family relationships and dynamics, and building a confident and fulfilling sense of self, based on their unique values and desires.
Caitlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado at a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors. She’s trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is working towards her certification with the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She holds two degrees in Psychology – a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a Concentration in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Her style is warm and down-to-earth with a healthy balance of directness. Caitlin is also known for her great sense of humor and her genuine enthusiasm.
Her standard session fee for adults or couples is $150. Young people ages 16 – 26 always receive a discounted rate of $125 for services with her.
Caitlin is also the head of Flourish Counseling & Coaching’s Pay It Forward Program, providing partial scholarships to adults & couples who’ve been economically impacted by COVID.
Licensed Therapist Jaime Hansen, MA, LPC
Licensed Psychotherapist Jaime Hansen, MA, LPC has always felt drawn to the helping professions. She has over 15 years of related experience working with both men and women one on one to help them access greater fulfillment in their lives. She also has a passion for showing couples how to achieve healthier communication, to develop a deeper understanding for how their behaviors are interconnected, and teaches them how to “turn towards” one another more often. Her experience allows her to quickly identify the core issues that have been getting in her clients way. Her presence is warm, enthusiastic and joy-filled. However, she can also get straight to the point and hold her clients accountable for the changes they want to pursue.
Senior Therapist & Coach Amy Couchman, MA, LPC
Amy’s clients describe her as “a gentle force.” She is rarely rattled and provides a calm, gentle sense of direction. And then, when it’s least expected, she busts out a sarcastic comment that leaves everyone in stitches.
Amy enjoys the opportunity to be a part of the change in her client’s lives. She never takes for granted what a privilege is it to be trusted with people’s most vulnerable and painful experiences.
She has 23 years of experience as a therapist and deeply enjoys supporting a myriad of adults and couples. She’s also trained in facilitating healing through grief and disturbing events through EMDR.
Amy supports children, teens, and families as well. She incorporates her Jack Russell Terrier, Fancy, into the work she does. As a highly trained, certified therapy dog, Fancy’s physical presence and affection during a session tends to put clients at ease.
Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education, with an emphasis in Couples and Family Therapy, from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell College. Amy’s training as a coach includes Whole Person Coaching. Amy also have years of experience and formal education around providing training and supervision to other therapists. She’s also the Practice Manager at Flourish.
Her standard session fee is $175.
Senior Therapist & Coach
Marcilla has addressed relationship issues for over 19 years. She comes across to her clients as warm, compassionate, and incredibly adept at picking up on key issues. She forms strong relationships with both her male and female clients and brings a stabilizing presence to the myriad of couples that she supports.
Marcilla loves working on family & relationship issues. She notes, “Professionally, I realize and appreciate how much our family and relationships shape who we are and how we handle struggles and challenges in life. We do not live in a bubble-we impact and are impacted by those closest to us. This amazing reality can be what sustains us and keeps us healthy, or, when relationships are strained and conflicted, it can be what keeps us stuck. The work we do at Flourish can help the family and individuals become “unstuck” by restoring healthy connections and bonds.”
Marcilla also has a wealth of experience working with children & their parents. As the mother of two active tweens and adolescents, she understands how complex & challenging family relationships can be. She empowers nuclear families, blended families, divorced & co-parenting families as well as single parent households.
“It is my firm belief that a healthy family is what provides a solid and secure base for children to grow and feel nurtured. My passion is to provide a vehicle for parents and children to better communicate, understand one another, and enhance connection.”
Marcilla’s coaching credentials include training in Whole Person Coaching. She’s a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her counseling credentials include a Master of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from New Mexico State University. Additionally, Marcilla provides supervision and training to other therapists.

Angela Sasseville, MA, LPC, Executive Coach & Therapist, and Founder
Unlike the other team members at Flourish, Angela provides customized Concierge Services to her clients to facilitate rapid momentum. She works predominately with high achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives individually, with their significant others, or with key business partners to assist them in achieving greater fulfillment both personally and professionally.
She specializes in helping loving but frustrated couples develop a deeper and more meaningful relationship with one another. Discerning clients who demand the highest level of skill available find themselves impressed with Angela’s therapeutic acumen. She’s known for her interactive and education style and for holding her clients accountable for the role that they’ve been inadvertently playing in perpetuating their stressors. She has over 18 years of experience empowering others.
As the Chief Creative Officer she’s the author of Flourish’ proprietary relationship curriculum, Relationships That Not Only Last But THRIVE and Flourish’s online course Get Clarity SHIFT (R). Her self-help guide for couples chronicles the insights and habits needed for marital survival during stressful times and became an award winning book, Families Under Financial Stress. She’s a contributing author to the Amazon best-seller I Choose Me: The Art of being a Phenomenally Successful Woman at Home & At Work by Cynthia James. Angela has been interviewed by Parents magazine, The Denver Post and the Associated Press. She has appeared on 9 NEWS, has been featured on PBS, and she has written blogs for MomsRising.org. Angela served on the Board of Directors for the non-profit MPowered for four years and has been on the faculty of coaches for the Academy of Women Emerging for female entrepreneurs since 2017.
She spends 30 days a year participating in classes, coaching and personal development courses to bring fresh tools to her clientele. Angela has received extensive training in using neuroscience to increase positive experiences and to decrease negative experiences with EMDR. She’s provided Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy for over 15 years and has completed the Gottman Method Level 1, both of which are research-based methodologies for creating relationship satisfaction. She’s a Certified Freedom Coach, a Certified SHIFT Facilitator, and a Certified Emergenetics Associate. She’s provided training to other therapists for over 13 years.
Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education specializing in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado at Denver, an accredited and nationally respected program. While there the faculty recognized her personal and academic achievements by honoring her with the “Outstanding Graduate” award. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
