Marital Problems

It’s May of 2021, and our relationships are all well over a year into the pandemic. We have spent over a year in the house with our partners with a significant lack of excitement, desire, and playfulness.

What should you do when your love life derails? If you have been in a long-term relationship for awhile, you have probably already figured out that it is not a question of whether or not things will derail, get stuck or go stale – it’s really just a question of when. It is normal for your love life to go through ups and downs just like any other part of your life does. However, the longer that things stay stuck and unfulfilling, the more strain it tends to put on a relationship, and the more a partner’s emotional needs are going unmet. So if either you or your partner are avoidant of talking about your physical relationship, I am going to encourage you to get over that. Communication is the first and most important step to starting to get things back on track.

Couples Counseling in Denver

Flourish Counseling and Coaching has been helping couples get their connection and intimacy back on track for over 15 years. We have a dedicated team of relationship experts at the ready to support clients in discovering and exploring the areas in which their intimate connections, both emotional and physical, are in need of growth.

The Intimacy and Synergy program at Flourish is a special curriculum for couples that I created that gives them insights to some of the magical ingredients that might be missing from their physical connection. It allows them to once again use their physical life with each other as an endless playground of possibilities. At the end of the day, your love life should be a special place where you go to get recharged, reconnected, to have fun and to have adventure. Couples are always better off when things are thriving in the bedroom.
