Marcilla Tims,MS,LMFT

Marcilla has addressed relationship issues for over 17 years.  She comes across to her clients as warm, compassionate, and incredibly adept at picking up on key issues.  She forms strong relationships with both her male and female clients and brings a stabilizing presence to the myriad of couples that she supports.

Here’s why Marcilla loves working on family & relationship issues: “Professionally, I realize and appreciate how much our family and relationships shape who we are and how we handle struggles and challenges in life. We do not live in a bubble-we impact and are impacted by those closest to us. This amazing reality can be what sustains us and keeps us healthy, or, when relationships are strained and conflicted, it can be what keeps us stuck. The work we do at Flourish can help the family and individuals become “unstuck” by restoring healthy connections and bonds.”

Marcilla also has a wealth of experience working with children & their parents. As a mother of 2 young children, she understands how complex & challenging family relationships can be.  She empowers nuclear families, blended families, divorced & co-parenting families as well as single parent households.
